JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - In the momentum of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 distributed 130 sacrificial animals (Hewan Qurban) to the community around the company's operational area spread across 12 Pelindo Regional 2 branches.
The distribution of sacrificial animals is part of Pelindo Regional 2's commitment to strengthening social awareness and the spirit of sharing with the community, especially during the Eid al-Adha moment which is full of values of togetherness and mutual cooperation.
Executive Director 2 of Pelindo Regional 2, Budi Prasetio, said that Eid al-Adha is an important momentum to strengthen the relationship between companies and the community through the spirit of sharing and social care.
"Eid al-Adha teaches the values of sincerity, togetherness, and caring for others. Through the distribution of these sacrificial animals, we want to ensure that Pelindo Regional 2's presence can provide tangible benefits to the communities surrounding the company's operational areas," said Budi.
He explained that the distribution of sacrificial animals was carried out evenly across Pelindo Regional 2 branches so that the benefits could be felt more widely by the community, especially in the area around the port.
According to him, as a state-owned enterprise operating in the port services sector, Pelindo not only focuses on strengthening services and operations, but also has a social responsibility to grow with the community.
"We believe the existence of a port should have a positive impact, not only from an economic and logistical perspective, but also in strengthening social and humanitarian values," he added.
Budi also hopes that the momentum of Eid al-Adha can further strengthen the relationship and collaboration between Pelindo Regional 2 and the community and all stakeholders in the company's operational areas.
