JAKARTA (ISL News) - On Eid al-Adha 1447 H, PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) again shared happiness with the community through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program in the form of distributing sacrificial animals in a number of the company's operational areas.
This year, PTP Nonpetikemas distributed 27 (Hewan Qurban) consisting of 23 cows (Sapi) and 4 (Kambing) to communities around the port, foundations, places of worship, port worker communities, and community groups in need in various operational areas of the company.
This program is a manifestation of the company's concern to continue to be present and grow with the community, especially during the momentum of Eid al-Adha which is synonymous with the spirit of sharing and togetherness.
PTP Nonpetikemas President Director, Indra Hidayat Sani, said that Eid al-Adha is not only a religious celebration, but also a momentum to strengthen humanitarian values and social solidarity.
"Through this Qurbani event, we want to share joy with the communities surrounding our operational areas. We hope this assistance will provide tangible benefits and strengthen the relationship between the company and the community. The spirit of sharing and mutual cooperation inherent in Eid al-Adha is a value we continue to uphold in our company operations," said Indra.
One of the beneficiaries, a representative of the Al Jihad Foundation or Al Jihad Mosque located at Jl. Papanggo I Rt.005/02 Kel. Papanggo, Tg. Priok District, North Jakarta, Ahmad Hadi Rufqi, expressed his appreciation for the sacrificial animal assistance provided.
"We express our sincere gratitude to PTP Nonpetikemas for providing us with sacrificial cattle. Praise be to God, this assistance has greatly assisted us in sharing with the congregation and the surrounding community in need. This assistance brings joy to the community on Eid al-Adha," said Hadi.
In addition to the sacrificial animal distribution program, PTP Non-container also continuously runs various other TJSL programs that focus on environmental preservation, MSE empowerment, education, health, and social activities.
PTP Nonpetikemas currently manages operations in 11 port branches spread across various strategic regions of Indonesia, including the Tanjung Priok, Banten, Cirebon, Panjang, Bengkulu, Palembang, Jambi, Teluk Bayur, Tanjung Pandan, Pangkal Balam, and Pontianak Port Branches.
