SULUT (ISL News) - The President Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo, Achmad Muchtasyar, conducted a direct inspection of Bitung Port following the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that rocked the North Sulawesi and North Maluku regions on Thursday (2/4/2026).
The visit was conducted to ensure that the port infrastructure remains safe and that port services are running normally.
"We conducted this visit to ensure that all major infrastructure and facilities at Bitung Port are safe and operating optimally following the earthquake. The safety of the public, workers, and service users is our top priority," said Achmad.
