SURABAYA (ISL News, March 9, 2026) – To strengthen the quality of its human resources, PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS) held a Ramadan training program themed "Meaningful at Work." The program ran from March 3–10, 2026, and was attended by more than 100 workers from various work units within TPS.
This program is specifically designed to provide capacity building, motivation, and professional and spiritual quality improvement for all TPS workers.
The 2026 Ramadan training was held in four main sessions, namely:
- Mental Health – Tuesday, March 3, 2026
- Happiness at Work – Jumat, 6 Maret 2026
- Spiritual Leadership – Monday, March 9, 2026
- Becoming a Star Employee – Tuesday, March 10, 2026
Through this training program, TPS seeks to provide employees with a platform to strengthen their personal capacities while enhancing professional values, mental health, and spirituality, in line with the momentum of Ramadan. This approach also forms part of the company's strategy to foster a productive, character-driven, and sustainable performance-oriented work culture.
TPS Corporate Secretary, Erika Asih Palupi, said that this agenda is part of the company's strategy to support a balance of professionalism, mental well-being and spiritual values in the work environment.
"Ramadan is the perfect opportunity to strengthen character and personal qualities. Through the Meaningful at Work training, we aim to provide a space for TPS workers to reorganize their motivation, improve their mental well-being, and enrich their leadership perspectives and work ethic," he said.
This program is expected to have a positive impact not only on individual workers, but also on improving the company's overall performance.
