SURABAYA (ISL News, February 19, 2026) – PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS) received recognition for its commitment to managing the company and submitting management reports in accordance with transparency and accountability standards. These ongoing efforts earned TPS a PR Indonesia Awards (PRIA) in the Annual Report category, held in Yogyakarta on February 13, 2026.

TPS received this recognition after undergoing an assessment conducted by the Organizer on the Company's Annual Report for the 2025 Financial Year — from restructuring the performance storyline , disciplined data management, to updating the visual design of the information to make it more informative and easy to navigate.

"This award validates our ongoing learning process. We strive to ensure that all performance data is presented accurately, traceable, and easily understood by stakeholders. Transparency is a crucial part of building trust," said Erika A. Palupi, Corporate Secretary of TPS.

This appreciation is special because it is the result of TPS's commitment to continuously improve knowledge, capacity , and competency in compiling Annual Reports, starting from narrative preparation, improving data quality, to standardizing report visualization.

Based on the official PRIA 2026 criteria for the Annual Report category, the assessment includes Report Design (25%), CEO/Board of Directors' Key Message (25%), Language & Message (25%), and Improvement from the previous year (25%).

TPS improvements focus on four aspects, namely 1) Informative design based on data navigation: the layout facilitates traceability of key performance indicators (operational, financial, ESG) and the linkage between strategy-risk-results (Design Aspect 25%), 2) Consistent strategic message: Chairman /CEO/Board of Directors message links operational transformation and service initiatives to value for customers & logistics ecosystem (Key Message Aspect 25%), 3) Clear & accountable language style: concise, avoids jargon, highlights clear metrics and measurement methods (Language & Message Aspect 25%), 4) Real improvement compared to last year: consistency of baseline -target-realization, addition of lessons learned section and data dictionary (Improvement Aspect 25%).

The superiority of the TPS Annual Report compared to other participants according to the Jury Board of the Annual Report Category, Verlyana Hitipeuw, there are 3 aspects, namely 1) Cohesion of strategy-performance-risk: presentation of a strategy map linked to port operational indicators and customer value in one narrative flow, reducing information silos (answering design & message aspects), 2) Explicit measurement methodology: each performance claim is referred to data sources and methods (answering language & accountability aspects) 3) Measurable “continuous improvement” chapter: showing what has been improved from the previous AR (structure, data visualization, stakeholder feedback loop ), not just adding content (answering improvement aspects).

"In the Annual Report category, we assess not only the visual presentation but also the coherence of strategic messaging, clarity of measurement methods, and tangible year-over-year improvements. TPS stands out for its consistent strategy-performance narrative and efforts to strengthen data accountability, making it easier for stakeholders to understand the value created," said Verlyana.

In addition to meeting the criteria, TPS demonstrated its commitment to capacity building through active participation in various capacity enhancement sessions, including workshop sessions held by the PR Indonesia Award that emphasized 1) Crisis Management, namely post-crisis reputation recovery with empathetic and impactful communication strategies, 2) Strategic PR: shifting from one-way narrative to co-creation with the public/stakeholders (TPS reflected this approach in the preparation of AR through materiality refresh, feedback loop and evidence-based narrative ).

"By participating in the PRIA learning ecosystem—conferences, workshops, and judging—we don't just submit documents. We absorb best practices, build internal benchmarks , and then integrate them into our AR process," Erika added.
