MAKASSAR (ISL News) - PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM) Group, a subholding of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) engaged in Marine, Equipment, Port Services, Dredging and Shipyard (MEPS) is increasingly strengthening its steps to realize its business expansion targets through business and service excellence across all business lines and operational areas. In order to accelerate the implementation of corporate actions and targets and to align the strategic steps that have been set by the company, SPJM Group held a Working Meeting (Raker) on February 12-13, 2026.
The two-day SPJM Group working meeting was held in Makassar. Participants included all SPJM central management, regional senior managers, and directors of subsidiaries and subsidiaries. The event was held as a hybrid format , with all SPJM employees also able to participate online.
On the first day, the working meeting was opened by Hermanto, the President Commissioner of SPJM. In his remarks, Hermanto expressed his appreciation for the hard work of all SPJM Group personnel, which has enabled the successful achievement of the 2025 targets. He also provided motivation for all SPJM personnel to boost their performance and contribute enthusiastically to meet the targets set in the SPJM Corporate Work Plan and Budget (RKAP) for 2026.
"On this occasion, the board of commissioners highly appreciates the hard work, reliability, and intelligence of all SPJM personnel. However, it is undeniable that 2026 will be full of complex dynamics. In line with this, the board of commissioners reaffirms three strategic directions: strengthening and diversifying MEPS (Marine, Equipment, and Port Services), selective business expansion, and optimizing service excellence," said Hermanto.
Hermanto continued, that this strategic direction must of course be accompanied by disciplined efficiency, risk management, and strengthening of human resource capabilities as well as good governance.
The first day of the working meeting was a series of directions from the Central SPJM directors for the evaluation of the 2025 achievements and the 2026 RKAP. After that, it was continued with a presentation of the performance of SPJM subsidiaries and subsidiaries which was divided into 4 sessions, namely the Marine, Equipment, Port Services, and subsidiaries sectors.
"This Working Meeting provides an open space to discuss the targets for 2026. The SPJM Group's roadmap, particularly for 2026, focuses on strengthening the business to provide superior support services to achieve future business expansion targets," said SPJM President Director Arief Prabowo.
On the second day, the event continued with a discussion on strategic issues and improvement initiatives based on lessons learned in 2025 by senior leaders of the SPJM Group. The discussion also aimed to provide a forum for exchanging ideas and concepts for addressing strategic challenges and issues to achieve business excellence and competitiveness for the SPJM Group.
Present online in the SPJM Working Meeting series, Pelindo Operations Director, Putut Sri Muljanto, who on that occasion provided a short briefing for all SPJM personnel.
"SPJM plays a vital role in supporting Pelindo Group's core businesses, including marine operations and equipment and utilities. Therefore, with the experience gained over the years, SPJM needs to focus on service excellence to achieve business development that will significantly impact the company's performance," Putut said.
Putut further hopes that this year's target can be achieved and that the SPJM Group's performance can show better achievements than the previous year.
Carrying the theme "Driving Commercial Expansion Through Business & Service Excellence" , this year's work meeting is expected to increase the enthusiasm of all SPJM personnel to provide superior and reliable services as the main key to increasing customer loyalty, strengthening business reputation, creating competitive advantages in the market, and providing the best contribution to the Indonesian people.
