JAKARTA (ISL News, January 30, 2026) - PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX:IPCC) as the operator of the Vehicle Terminal under the management of Subholding Pelindo Multi Terminal (SPMT) received a benchmark visit from Tanjung Langsat Port (TLP), Johor, Malaysia to directly observe the business processes at IPCC and exchange information regarding the handling of Roll-on Roll-off (RORO) cargo.
This visit was attended directly by the Director of Operations and Engineering of IPCC, Bagus Dwipoyono along with the staff and Executive Director of TLP, Datuk Shahrull Allam Shah bin Abdul Halim and Head of Department-Technical, Engineering and Facilities Management of TLP Shahrul Izam bin Abas.
The visit on Friday morning began with an exchange of information about the two ports, the services provided by each port, accompanied by a lively discussion on the future development of the vehicle port.
As a dedicated vehicle terminal, IPCC emphasizes digitalization and expansion as the key to achieving the best performance and prioritizes the principle of zero defects and zero accidents within the terminal to ensure the quality of service provided to service users.
Meanwhile, as a multipurpose port that also handles RORO cargo, TLP is enthusiastic about seeing the business processes at IPCC starting from receiving-delivery, cargodoring and stevedoring as well as exchanging information regarding the limits of authority as a terminal owner.
The event continued with a port tour to see firsthand the business process, especially at the Central Inspection Facility when the cargo to be exported first enters the terminal and the unit is checked to see if there are any defects or if the car is safe for export.
"We are very enthusiastic about observing the vehicle terminal business process and learning about the facilities available for development at our port. We hope this meeting can continue in the future and be the beginning of collaboration between the two entities," said Sahrull. "As a public company, we are very enthusiastic about receiving a visit from TLP, especially since TLP's business also shares RORO cargo with IPCC, and we don't rule out the possibility of our future collaboration," said Bagus.
