BANDAR`LAMPUNG (ISL News) - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Panjang recorded positive growth in operational performance throughout 2025. Based on the realization until December 2025, Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang recorded positive growth in all main indicators of operational traffic compared to the realization in 2024. Ship visits increased to 3,580 units, growing by around 16%, indicating increased port activity and user confidence in Panjang Port services. In terms of goods flow, the volume reached 7.62 million tons, or grew by around 2.5% compared to the previous year.
Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang General Manager, Hardianto, stated that this achievement was the result of the collective work of all Pelindo employees and the support of stakeholders. "Alhamdulillah, Panjang Port's performance throughout 2025 showed a positive growth trend. This is the result of service transformation, digital system strengthening, and the synergy we continue to build with all stakeholders. Moving forward, we are committed to continuously improving operational reliability and service quality, as well as creating a port ecosystem that is increasingly efficient, transparent, and competitive," Hardianto said.
Meanwhile, in the container segment, realization reached 128,675 TEUs, a significant increase of 24% compared to 2024. This demonstrates increasing user confidence in Panjang Port services, along with infrastructure strengthening and the implementation of digitalization of port services.
This achievement was driven by increased loading and unloading of key commodities such as coal, crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives, and fertilizer for general cargo. Meanwhile, containerized cargo continued to be dominated by pineapple and coffee.
Purnadi, a service user representative from PT Ganjaran Samudera Mandiri, also expressed his appreciation for the development of Panjang Port. "We see Panjang Port continuing to grow positively. Service digitization has significantly accelerated operational processes and made them more transparent, while also improving service quality. Moving forward, from the service user perspective, we hope that rewards and strengthening stakeholder management can continue to be improved to optimize collaboration between Pelindo and business actors," Purnadi said.
