Jakarta (ISL News) – PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (“SPSL”) recorded positive performance in implementing its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Program throughout 2025. The company successfully realized 33 TJSL programs focused on three main pillars, namely the environment, education and economic development, as part of the company's commitment to creating inclusive and sustainable growth.
Through these various initiatives, SPSL contributes to supporting the 12 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and provides direct benefits to communities around the company's operational areas.
SPSL's Senior Vice President of Corporate Secretariat, Dewi Fitriyani, explained that the implementation of SPSL's TJSL program was designed not only as a social activity, but as part of the company's strategy in creating a sustainable positive impact on society and the environment.
"Through the CSR Program, SPSL strives to make a real contribution to improving the welfare, empowerment, and independence of communities around its operational areas while supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We design each program to create mutually reinforcing social, economic, and environmental benefits," he said on Tuesday (January 27, 2026).
Natural Resources
In the environmental sector, SPSL implemented seven programs throughout 2025 focused on waste management and environmental conservation. These programs include the Semarang Waste Sorting and Processing Movement; the Carbon Village Program in Ngesrep Balong Village, Kendal; the Lakum Fruit Cultivation Program in Mempawah; tree planting at Tanjung Mas Port and Medan; Pelindo Village Development; and mangrove rehabilitation in several SPSL work areas.
Quality of Education
In the education sector, SPSL has implemented nine programs aimed at expanding access and improving the quality of public education. These programs include the Pelindo Juara Scholarship, the Pelindo Prestasi Program through non-formal training and vocational training, Pelindo Mengajar (Teaching), Port Visit, welfare assistance for educators from the Barunawati Nusantara Foundation in Jakarta, and the Pelindo Inspirational Friend Program (PIJAR) in 2025.
MSEs and Coastal Economy
In the field of economic development, SPSL implemented eight community empowerment programs, including the implementation of the Maritimepreneur program through the Independence UMK Bazaar and the 2nd Pelindo Tower Local Pride Spot, empowerment of UMK processing Lakum Fruit syrup, Implementation of the Safety Riding program for Online Motorcycle Taxis and health checks for TKBM, the Empowered Nila Village Foster Village, and the Fishermen's Friend Program in the form of assistance with facilities and production materials for fishery product processing.
Social Care
In addition to these three priority areas, SPSL also runs nine other social programs, including the Pelita Program or Pelindo Environment Without Stunting Children, SPSL Shares Ramadan, Free Homecoming with BUMN and Pelindo Group, Sobat Aksi Ramadhan, Pelindo Shares Qurban, basic food aid, and flood disaster response in Bekasi, West Java.
The TJSL SPSL program will be implemented through Employee Social Responsibility (ESR) throughout 2025, with 118 workers directly involved. By the end of December 2025, the program will reach more than 3,000 beneficiaries from across Indonesia.
