CIWANDAN BANTEN (ISL News) — PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Banten facilitated a working visit by the Semarang Stevedoring Workers Cooperative (TKBM) to Ciwandan Port as part of an effort to strengthen synergy and unify visions in developing a professional and sustainable port ecosystem.
This visit became a forum for a constructive exchange of ideas between Pelindo Regional 2 Banten and the Semarang TKBM Cooperative, particularly in discussing the strategic role of TKBM in supporting the smooth operation of the port and facing various challenges in the field collaboratively.
During the series of activities, Pelindo Regional 2 Banten presented the operational profile of Ciwandan Port, including port governance, implementation of operational standards, and strengthening of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) culture. This aims to ensure that all work processes comply with applicable standards, supporting safe, reliable, and sustainable logistics efficiency.
General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Banten, Benny Ariadi, said that synergy with TKBM is an important element in maintaining the reliability of port operations.
"TKBM plays a strategic role in supporting the smooth loading and unloading process at the port. Through this working visit, we hope to exchange best practices, strengthen coordination, and build shared understanding to create safe, productive, and sustainable port operations," said Benny.
This synergy is expected to become a strong foundation in supporting the smooth operation of Ciwandan Port and encouraging the sustainable growth of the national logistics sector.
