SURABAYA (ISL News) - Regarding the development of the legal issues currently being handled by colleagues from the Tanjung Perak District Attorney's Office and involving Pelindo, the Senior Manager of Legal Affairs and Public Relations of Pelindo Regional 3 stated that his office is concerned about the problems that have occurred and fully respects the legal process currently being carried out by the Tanjung Perak District Attorney's Office. At the same time, he respects the principle of presumption of innocence for all parties deemed to be involved in the problem.
Karlinda Sari made this statement to the media when contacted regarding the legal issues involving Pelindo. She stated that all ongoing law enforcement efforts are under the authority of the authorities and are ongoing, and Pelindo supports these efforts in accordance with statutory provisions.
"We express our concern over the legal issues at Pelindo. We urge that this case be handled openly, transparently, and professionally, providing clarity to the public and ensuring that the entire process complies with applicable regulations," Karlinda said.
Meanwhile, regarding the naming of several employees as suspects, Karlinda stated that Pelindo continues to uphold the presumption of innocence until a final and binding court decision is issued. When asked about the possibility of legal assistance for the individuals suspected of involvement, Karlinda explained that, within company regulations, Pelindo will provide the necessary legal assistance to the employees involved.
