PANJANG LAMPUNG (ISL News) - HS Code Technical Guidance and Socialization of Inter-Island Goods Notification Implementation (PAB) phase 3 was held at the AKHLAK building of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang. The activity was attended online by Sri Sugy Atmanto, Director of Trade and Logistics Facilities, Ministry of Trade and followed in person by Rusdi Efendi, Head of Traffic and Port Affairs of the Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP) Class I Panjang and Hardianto, General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang.
In her remarks, Sri Sugy Atmanto, Director of Trade Facilities and Logistics at the Ministry of Trade, expressed her appreciation for the cross-agency synergy established in the implementation of this activity. "Improving understanding of the HS Code system and the PAB mechanism is a crucial part of supporting the smooth flow of national goods. Through collaboration between the government, businesses, and port operators, we hope to create a more efficient and transparent logistics system that will strengthen Indonesia's trade competitiveness," said Sri Sugy Atmanto.
In line with this statement, Rusdi Efendi, Head of the Traffic and Port Affairs Division of the Class I Panjang Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP), stated that this outreach and technical guidance activity demonstrates our commitment to fulfilling our obligations regarding PAB reporting, which can now be done through an app. "PAB reporting is now done through an app, and this will create a transparent and efficient logistics ecosystem," said Rusdi Efendi.
Synergy
Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang General Manager Hardianto added that this activity represents a concrete example of synergy between the government, port operators, and business actors in improving the efficiency and integrity of port services. "Through activities like this, we hope that all business actors within Panjang Port will have a better understanding of the goods classification system and the new provisions related to PAB, so that the national logistics process can run more orderly, quickly, and accurately," Hardianto said.
"Pelindo continues to provide modern, connected, and sustainable port services, while strengthening collaboration with the government and all stakeholders to improve the quality of national logistics and support inclusive economic growth," concluded Hardianto.
