BANDAR LAMPUNG INDONESIA (ISL News) - Last Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the AKHLAK building of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Panjang Bandar Lampung together with the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office signed a Cooperation Agreement on Handling Civil and State Administrative Problems.
The signing of both parties was carried out by the General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang Imam Rahmiyadi and the Head of the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office, Kuntadi. This cooperation agreement was carried out to optimize the implementation of duties and functions in the field of Civil and State Administration, in addition to increasing the effectiveness of handling the resolution of legal problems in the field of Civil and State Administration, both inside and outside the court.
On that occasion, the Head of the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office, Kuntadi, explained that historically the Indonesian prosecutor's office has the authority to carry out the functions of the Civil and State Administration fields. Specifically for the Civil field, this function has existed since before Indonesia's independence with the legal basis of Staatblad No. 522 of 1922. The existence of this function exists because of the real need for government administration activities at that time.
This is in accordance with the mandate of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia in his direction, namely the actions of the State Attorney in carrying out the task of restoring state assets, including in this case the arrangement, inventory of assets held by other parties so that they can be returned immediately.
On the same occasion, General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang Imam Rahmiyadi stated the same thing that the signing of this cooperation agreement is one form of strategic and collaborative steps to strengthen good corporate governance, strengthen public trust and port service customers in company management. The next concrete step is to obtain certainty of legal assistance in handling legal problems and their prevention. Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang will continue to strive proactively related to the Handling and Settlement of Civil and State Administrative Law.
