JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News) - During the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2024/2025, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2, which includes 12 branches, successfully served 78,160 passengers in all passenger terminals it manages. This number was recorded in the period from December 10, 2024 to January 6, 2025 (D-15 to D+12) in all Pelindo Regional 2 passenger terminals.
"Starting from December 10, 2024 to January 6, 2025, Pelindo Regional 2 recorded that there were 78,160 passengers passing through the Pelindo Regional 2 terminal. The distribution of 78,160 passengers was in 8 passenger terminals, including 34,726 passengers in Tanjung Priok, 14,214 in Teluk Bayur, 12,841 in Pontianak, 7,381 in Pangkal Balam, 5,554 in Tanjung Pandan, 2,987 in Palembang, 365 in Banten and 92 passengers in Bengkulu. Not only passengers, Pelindo Regional 2 also serves the loading and unloading of Nataru vehicle flows of 5,698 vehicles with a record of 364 vehicles at the Banten terminal, 688 vehicles at the Tanjung Pandan terminal, 1,126 vehicles at the Pangkal Balam terminal, 1,707 vehicles at the Pontianak terminal, and 1,813 vehicles at the Tanjung Priok terminal.
Meanwhile, the number of Nataru passenger ships in Pelindo Regional 2 is 217 ships. Tanjung Priok Terminal is the terminal with the largest number of ships with 56 ships, followed by Teluk Bayur 37 ships, Pontianak 34 ships, Pangkal Balam 31 ships, Palembang and Tanjung Pandan 23 ships, Banten 11 ships and Bengkulu 2 ships.

This Nataru shows the positive side of passengers who are going home for Nataru 2024 by sea, one of the passengers who crossed through the Boom Baru port of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang admitted that the service was comfortable, the officers were friendly, all the facilities were still new and good, such as the waiting room and bathroom were very clean and adequate.
