JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News) -
PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas), as part of the Pelindo Group and a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal, continues to transform in providing superior services for various types of cargo, such as liquid bulk, dry bulk, general cargo, and others.

One of the pillars of the transformation is Technology which is implemented by implementing the Pelindo Terminal Operating System-Multipurpose (PTOS-M). PTOS-M can effectively reduce the average port stay of ships until the third quarter of 2024 by 33%, from three days to two days.

Transformation is able to accelerate the loading and unloading process and support the smooth flow of goods which leads to reduced logistics costs and strengthens the competitiveness of Indonesian ports at the global level. In addition to the Technology pillar, PTP Nonpetikemas also carries out transformation in five other main pillars, namely Process, HR, Equipment, Infrastructure, and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment).

This transformation not only improves operational efficiency but also ensures the safety and smooth flow of traffic at the port by achieving zero fatalities.

"The transformation at PTP Nonpetikemas aims to drive the company's progress and strengthen business development in various regions. We are committed to continuing to develop the company to achieve our goal, beyond terminal, while still ensuring safety and achieving zero fatality," said PTP Nonpetikemas President Director Indra Hidayat Sani.

Indra explained that one of the significant achievements of PTP Nonpetikemas is the success in handling various types of commodities, such as PTP Nonpetikemas Tanjung Priok Branch recording a throughput of 10 million tons in the third quarter of 2024. This port is also recorded as the PTP Nonpetikemas branch with the highest Ton/Ship/Day (T/S/D) achievement in the general cargo category, namely 4,004.3 T/S/D.

In addition, the Teluk Bayur branch also showed extraordinary achievements with T/S/D for liquid bulk cargo reaching 6,382.56 T/S/D, far exceeding the RKAP target of 5,398.73 T/S/D. Teluk Bayur is now the port with the largest CPO handling in Indonesia.

PTP Nonpetikemas Cabang Panjang recorded positive performance by achieving the T/S/D target, namely 115% in the cargo bag category, 140% in the liquid bulk category, and 104% in the dry bulk category from the RKAP for Quarter III of 2024. This achievement strengthens PTP Nonpetikemas' position as a mainstay in the Indonesian logistics sector.

PTP Nonpetikemas offers a variety of superior services, such as stevedoring (unloading or loading goods from ships), cargodoring (moving goods between docks and warehouses), stacking warehouses, receiving/delivery, as well as transportation and shorebase services. During its 10 years of operation, PTP Nonpetikemas has played an important role in the national economy through the logistics and port sectors by continuing to transform and seek new market opportunities.
