JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 provides Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) managers by holding a Workshop on Analysis and Implementation of Social Return on Investment (SROI) Calculations for 3 days starting from 6-8 November 2024 at the Horison Ultima Bhuvana Hotel Ciawi Bogor, attended by the Regional Division Head of Human Resources and General Services of Pelindo Regional 2, Dian Vegawati, Plt. Senior Manager of Law and Public Relations of Pelindo Regional 2, Astrid Unggul Pawestri and 35 participants consisting of TJSL function implementers from 12 Pelindo Regional 2 branches.
Regional Division Head of Human Resources and General Services of Pelindo Regional 2, Dian Vegawati, in her speech said that the implementation of this SROI training is part of improving corporate governance, which includes providing training to TJSL managers with knowledge on how to plan and evaluate good and effective TJSL programs.
"The company realizes the importance of implementing TJSL and knows the success of the TJSL program, this success is not only seen from the many programs that have been carried out, but more than that, the evaluation of the effectiveness and measurement of the impact that occurs from the implementation of the program, this is part of improving TJSL governance in Region 2," said Vega.
The company's TJSL program measurement workshop using SROI aims to measure the benefits, manage, strengthen, and see the effectiveness of the impact of the program that has been created by the company. In this activity, participants are also trained in planning TJSL programs that will be implemented so that the benefits and impacts can meet the needs of the current generation without reducing the capabilities of future generations.
In line with Dian Vegawati, Acting Senior Manager of Law and Public Relations of Pelindo Regional 2, Astrid Unggul Pawestri said, this SROI Workshop activity is the first time we have done it and in the future what has been learned from this activity can be implemented by all TJSL function implementers in Regional 2.
The SROI Calculation Analysis and Implementation Workshop activity was filled by Lestari Foundation with material on how to understand the Theory of Change, Calculation of program impacts through SROI and Dimensions or impacts on the environment. In addition to the material knowledge gained, workshop participants were also invited to simulate SROI for programs that had been run in each branch and participants had the opportunity to interact with each other in discussions, the activity ended with a joint commitment from TJSL function implementers to implement SROI to improve corporate governance.
Ringga Ginanjar as a training participant said that this training was very useful for me in planning, running and evaluating the implementation of the TJSL Program and we will implement this useful knowledge in the implementation of TJSL in the future.
