JAKARTA (ISL News) – In order to improve the quality and role of truck drivers at the Port, the Logindo Club together with Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok held training and certification from BNSP ( National Professional Certification Agency ) specifically for container transport drivers.
The General Chairman of the Logindo Club Association, Mustadjab Susilo Basuki said, the Training and Certification of BNSP Container Freight Drivers by the Logindo Club Association is a Training and Competency Test that aims to improve the knowledge of truck drivers regarding knowledge, skills, and driving attitudes.
"We are working with Pelindo Regioal 2 Tanjung Priok to hold this training for three days. Participants are tested for competency by LSP on behalf of BNSP, and will receive BPJS Employment (Jamsostek)," Mustajab told the Press at the Tanjung Priok Port Passenger Terminal, Jakarta, Friday (04/10/2024) yesterday.
Mustajab said that the BNSP training and certification by the Logindo Club Association is a momentum to improve the competence and professionalism of truck drivers who usually carry out container loading and unloading activities in the Tanjung Priok Port area.
"We want tens of thousands of container truck drivers to have BNSP competency certificates, and it needs to be understood that training activities are also to support Single Truck Identification Data or STID," he added.
The opening of the first batch of the Logindo Club Association Training was attended by the Chairman of the KNKT, Pertamina Lubricant, EGM of PT Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok Adi Sugiri, Head of Lala Division of the Tanjung Priok Main KSOP Wim Hutajulu, Tanjung Priok Port Police, Chairman of PSSTP Agung, KPU BC Tanjung Priok, and PT Rubberman.
