"This step is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy and ensure quality sacrificial animals are provided to the community," he said.
He continued, this is in line with Pelindo's commitment to supporting sustainable development in Indonesia. Through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, Pelindo supports the government's efforts to reduce poverty and improve the welfare of communities throughout Indonesia.
It is hoped that the activity of distributing sacrificial meat will not only provide benefits to direct recipients, but will also be an inspiration for all parties to continue to contribute to strengthening social relations.
Furthermore, it is also to increase sensitivity and empathy as well as strengthen awareness of the importance of supporting local breeders and the community in supporting sustainable development.
