JAKARTA (ISL News) – On Tuesday, June 11 2024, IPC Terminal Petikemas collaborated with the North Jakarta City Government to hold a socialization activity on procedures for slaughtering sacrificial animals for mosque administrators and sacrificial animal slaughter committees which will be held at the North Jakarta Mayor's Office.
Symbolically, IPC TPK's assistance in the form of 100 blades of cutting tools in the form of slaughter knives and 100 sheets of 20 square meter plastic sheeting for meat mats were handed over by Pramestie Wulandary Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK to Unang Rustanto, Head of the North Jakarta Administrative City Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-Department.
Guna Mulyana, Main Director of IPC Terminal Container said that IPC TPK was present as a collaborator in the socialization activities held by the North Jakarta City Government in order to welcome the upcoming Idul Adha 1445 H/2024 M.
The socialization activity on procedures for slaughtering sacrificial animals was organized by the Maritime Food Security and Agriculture Sub-Department of North Jakarta Administrative City in the context of community development during the celebration of Idul Adha 1445 H/2024 AD. It is hoped that this activity can equip mosque administrators and sacrificial animal slaughter committees who will carry out slaughtering of sacrificial animals so that the sacrificial meat distributed to the community complies with the principles of Safe, Healthy, Whole and Halal (ASUH).
Socialization and coaching participants will gain knowledge regarding the procedures for slaughtering sacrificial animals and will also be provided with equipment in the form of slaughter knives and plastic sheeting for meat to carry out activities in their respective places. This assistance is a form of the Company's commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2.2.2(a), namely the quality of food consumption as indicated by the Expected Food Pattern (PPH) score.
"We hope that the assistance provided can support the program being implemented by the North Jakarta City Government in ensuring that the slaughtering of sacrificial animals for residents in ring 1 of Tanjung Priok Port can run according to the correct procedures. We hope that the assistance we provide can be useful, making it easier to carry out the slaughtering of sacrificial animals and bring blessings to the people of North Jakarta," concluded Guna Mulyana.
