Therefore, an institution capable of providing input, recommendations, and solutions oriented toward the common good is needed.
One of the Port Council's important contributions is to promote increased service efficiency. When various stakeholders come together to discuss operational constraints, decisions can be more comprehensive and realistic. This can ultimately reduce national logistics costs, which have long been a challenge to Indonesia's competitiveness.
Furthermore, the Port Council also plays a role in overseeing the long-term development of Tanjung Priok Port. With the increasing volume of international trade, the port must continuously adapt through terminal development, improved hinterland connectivity, and the implementation of digital technology. Constructive input from the Port Council can help ensure that any development policies align with the needs of industry and the community.

An active forum without concrete implementation will struggle to achieve significant impact.
