PALEMBANG (ISL News) - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Palembang received a working visit from PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) in order to directly inspect the loading and unloading activities of Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertilizer which took place at the Non-Container Pier of Boom Baru Port managed by PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok Palembang Branch. This visit was carried out as part of coordination between BUMNs to ensure the fertilizer loading and unloading process runs smoothly, safely, and in accordance with applicable port operational standards.
DAP fertilizer is one of the national strategic commodities distributed through Boom Baru Port to support the availability of fertilizer for the agricultural sector, especially in the South Sumatra region and its surroundings.
Through this visit, both parties conducted a direct review of the loading and unloading process to ensure there were no operational obstacles that could hamper distribution.
Regarding this matter, the General Manager of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Palembang, Darmawi, said, "We welcome the visit from PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja as a form of synergy between state-owned enterprises in maintaining the smooth distribution of national strategic commodities. As part of the state-owned enterprise ecosystem under Danantara Indonesia, Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang is committed to continuing to provide optimal loading and unloading services, especially for fertilizers which are an important need for the agricultural sector in South Sumatra."
