JAKARTA (ISL News) - PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) expressed its appreciation to employees who successfully presented various innovative ideas through the 2026 PTP Innovation Awarding. This activity became the company's momentum to provide awards while strengthening the culture of innovation and continuous improvement across all lines of the company.
PTP Innovation is a program that has been running since 2019 as a platform for employees to present ideas and solutions to various challenges in carrying out their work. The various innovations generated from this program are expected to not only benefit work units but also be developed and implemented to support improved company performance.
PTP Nonpetikemas President Director Indra Hidayat Sani stated that innovation is a crucial part of building an adaptive and improvement-oriented work culture. He believes that every employee idea demonstrates a commitment to business processes and a drive to provide more effective solutions.

In PTP Innovation 2026, Tanjung Pandan Branch won 1st place through the innovation “EQUIP-CHECK 2026: Integrated QR Code-Based Digitalization of Heavy Equipment Pre-Start Check”, Engineering Division won 2nd place through “Smart Laser Safety Zone For Heavy Equipment Operation”, and HR Division won 3rd place through “Integrated Smart Archiving System (ISAS)”. Meanwhile, the 1st Favorite Champion was won by the Renstra Division through “ECO-HOPPER” and the 2nd Favorite Champion was won by the Pontianak Branch through “MODIFICATION OF HOSE FLOW BY PIPE ON THE PORT ALFRED SHIP”.
These five innovations represent a variety of improvement efforts within the Non-Container PTP environment, ranging from digitizing heavy equipment inspection processes, enhancing operational safety, managing archives, and optimizing operational processes. This demonstrates that innovation can grow across various functions and branches, responding to the needs and challenges faced in the field.
One example of innovation implementation that benefits the company's business processes is Port Operation Cost Control (Popcost), an innovation developed in PTP Inovasi 2024 and going live on October 10, 2025. Prior to Popcost, there was no standard template for preparing loading and unloading plans and implementation, so each branch used a different template. Furthermore, there were no tools available to directly accrue operating expenses from loading and unloading activities, and there was no database of profit and loss margins by vessel and commodity.
