JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - IPC Container Terminal (IPC TPK) has again recorded a positive operational performance trend until mid-Q3 2026. This achievement is proof of the company's commitment to maintaining the reliability of container loading and unloading services and encouraging national logistics efficiency in a sustainable manner.
Throughout August 2026, IPC TPK successfully recorded a container flow of 339,359 TEUs, growing 10.3% compared to the same period in 2025 of 307,559 TEUs. Cumulatively, the total loading and unloading volume from January to August 2026 has reached 2,510,561 TEUs, an increase of 8.37% compared to the achievement in August 2025 of 2,316,744 TEUs.
"We continue to focus on optimizing terminal facilities to provide the best, most efficient, and timely service for all business partners and shipping lines," said Daniel Setiawan, Senior Manager of the Corporate Secretariat at IPC TPK.
This positive growth was supported by an increase in loading and unloading volumes across various terminal operations managed by IPC TPK. Teluk Bayur Terminal was the contributor with the highest growth surge, recording a 14.6% increase in volume as of August 2026.
Meanwhile, Tanjung Priok Terminal, the main hub, recorded significant growth of 13.2%, followed by Panjang Terminal with a 10.9% increase, and Pontianak Terminal with positive growth of 4.2%. The success in maintaining the upward trend in volume across all terminals in the operational area is inseparable from the company's consistency in improving the competence of operational human resources, as well as implementing occupational safety standards in the field.
Increasing the efficiency of ship berthing times and loading and unloading times is also a key factor in maintaining sustainable operational stability. "As we enter the final quarter of 2026, IPC TPK will continue to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders in the logistics and port industry. We are optimistic that we can maintain this growth momentum until the end of the year by improving operational efficiency and providing service innovations that are focused on user needs," Daniel concluded.
