JAKARTA (ISL News) - PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) held a Basic K3 Certification Training for Loading and Unloading Workers (TKBM) in collaboration with the Indonesian TKBM Training Agency. The training lasted for two days, namely on August 12–13, 2026, took place at the Dojo Room, International Terminal, Jakarta Branch, and was attended by 36 TKBM within the PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk environment. This activity is a manifestation of the implementation of the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Program as part of IPCC's ongoing commitment to improving the capacity of human resources in the port sector.
This program aims to improve the competency of stevedoring workers in occupational safety and health, particularly in understanding workplace accident risks, identifying potential hazards, using personal protective equipment, and administering first aid. Through this program, the IPCC aims to ensure that every TKBM working within the terminal environment has adequate knowledge and skills in occupational health and safety (K3) to carry out their daily operational duties.
The training materials are designed comprehensively, covering an understanding of Law No. 1 of 1970 concerning Occupational Safety, the basics of K3 and identification of potential hazards in the workplace, the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and First Aid (P3K). All materials are delivered by competent instructors in their fields so that participants truly understand the risks of workplace accidents and are able to take appropriate preventive and initial treatment steps. At the end of the training series, participants will also participate in an evaluation session to measure the understanding they have gained during the two-day training.
The implementation of this program is supported by various stakeholders, including the Indonesian TKBM Workers Union, the North Jakarta Administrative City Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-Department, and the Indonesian TKBM Training Agency. This collaboration reflects the importance of synergy between companies, the government, and workers' organizations in strengthening the culture of occupational safety in the port environment. IPCC management was also present at the activity through the Director of Finance, Human Resources and Risk Management of PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk, the Senior Manager of Human Resources and General Affairs, and the Jakarta Branch Manager. This cross-party synergy is expected to strengthen the shared commitment to creating a safe, orderly, and productive port work environment.
Regarding the implementation of this program, the Director of Finance, Human Resources and Risk Management of PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk, Wing Megantoro, said, "TKBM is a crucial part of the terminal's operational ecosystem so their safety is a non-negotiable responsibility. IPCC wants this training to be a continuous strengthening of the OHS culture. We hope that all participants will participate in the training actively and with discipline, so that the knowledge gained is truly applied in daily work activities. OHS culture must be part of the way we work, so that every operational activity can run safely, orderly, and productively."
