JAKARTA (ISL News) – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo together with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) invited students to increase their understanding of the dangers of drug abuse through the TJSL Program "Sobat Ananda Bersinar, Merdeka Tanpa Narkoba" which was held at SMAN 13 North Jakarta, Monday (24/8/2026).
The activity, attended by 100 students, is part of the National Anti-Drug Action, Starting with Clean Kids Against Narcotics (ANANDA BERSINAR). This program provides an educational platform for students to recognize the dangers of narcotics and build skills in preventing and resisting drug abuse from an early age.
Director of Operations & Engineering of PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva, Boby Hardian, said that prevention efforts need to start by providing sufficient understanding to the younger generation so that they are able to make the right decisions when faced with negative influences in their surroundings.
"Young people need the knowledge and courage to say no to drugs. We want them to understand that every choice they make today will determine their future. Therefore, this kind of education is important from an early age so they grow into a healthy, confident generation capable of protecting themselves and their environment," said Boby.
The Sobat Ananda Bersinar program is a collaboration between the Pelindo Group and Regional 2, Tanjung Priok, and PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva, along with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN). This collaboration aims to expand education on the impact of drug abuse on students' health, future, and social life.
Regional Division Head of Human Resources and General Services Region 2 of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), Mundzyr Salim, said that attention to the world of education is not only related to improving academic abilities, but also creating an environment that supports the growth and development of the younger generation.
According to him, students need to be adequately equipped to recognize the various risks in their social environment. With this understanding, schools are expected to become safe spaces for students to learn, develop, and plan for their future.
The Head of the North Jakarta National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Senior Commissioner of Police Irwan Andy S.IK, also delivered a presentation titled "A Great Generation Without Drugs." The session continued with a question-and-answer session with students regarding the dangers of narcotics and prevention efforts.
In addition to the presentations, the series of activities also included performances by students from SMAN 13 North Jakarta, featuring vocal solos and angklung music. The event was also attended by Acep Mahmudin, Head of the Junior High and Senior High School Section of the North Jakarta Region 2 Education Agency, as well as members of the Pelindo Group and the North Jakarta National Narcotics Agency (BNN).
Through this program, Pelindo hopes that students will not only understand the impact of drug abuse, but also have the awareness to protect themselves and participate in building a healthy and drug-free school and community environment.
