PALEMBANG (ISL News) – As a form of commitment to supporting the government program to accelerate the reduction of stunting rates, Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program "Pelindo Lingkungan Tanpa Anak Stunting (PELITA)" in 2026 distributed aid to 137 families with children at risk of stunting in the Ilir Timur II District, Palembang City.
The aid handover activity took place at the 5 Ilir Village Office, Ilir Timur II District, Palembang City, which was attended by the Acting General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, represented by the Finance & HR Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, Saripudin, the Head of Ilir Timur II District of Palembang City, Arya Andriana, S.STP, MM, the Secretary of the Ilir Timur II District, Aiptu Afriansyah representing the Ilir Timur II Police Chief, Chandra Kurniadi, S.Kom representing the Head of the Population and Family Planning Control Service (DPPKB) of Palembang City, the Family Planning Area Coordinator of Ilir Timur II District, the Village Heads of Ilir Timur II District and the Chairperson of the TP PKK of Ilir Timur II District.
The aid was symbolically handed over directly by the Finance & HR Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, Saripudin, in the form of 822 boxes of milk and 822 packs of nutritious biscuits, which will be distributed to 137 children at risk of stunting over the next three months to support the fulfillment of their nutritional needs.
The PELITA (Pelindo Lingkungan Tanpa Anak Stunting) program is one of Pelindo's flagship CSR programs, focusing on preventing and addressing stunting by providing nutritional assistance to families with toddlers at risk, particularly those living near port operational areas. This program is part of the company's concrete contribution to improving public health while simultaneously supporting the achievement of the national target of reducing stunting prevalence.
In his remarks, the Finance & HR Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, Saripudin, who represented the Acting General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, expressed his hope that the assistance provided would be utilized well by the beneficiary community.
"PELITA or Pelindo Lingkungan Tanpa Anak Stunting is one of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang's flagship TJSL programs which is specifically aimed at handling and preventing stunting for children in the area around the port's operational area. We hope that this assistance can be utilized optimally by parents to meet the nutritional needs of their children. Hopefully, with sufficient nutritional intake, children in Ilir Timur II District can get through this period of stunting risk and grow into a healthy, strong and quality generation. Pelindo will continue to be committed to supporting various programs that provide real benefits to the community around the port's operational area," said Saripudin.
Meanwhile, the Head of Ilir Timur II Sub-district, Palembang City, Arya Andriana, S.STP, MM also expressed his appreciation for the contribution made by Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang to the community in his area.

We hope the assistance provided will be beneficial and help ease the burden on the community, especially families with toddlers at risk of stunting in the Ilir Timur II region. Through the PELITA TJSL program, Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang is committed to continuing to be present and actively contributing to supporting the welfare of the community around the port's operational area, especially in a joint effort to create a healthy generation free from stunting.
