JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - Koja Container Terminal together with the Tanjung Priok Type A Main Customs and Excise Service Office, the DKI Jakarta Animal, Fish, and Plant Quarantine Center, PT JICT, and PT Pacific International Lines (PIL) Indonesia carried out the destruction of State-Controlled Goods (BDN) and Goods Declared Uncontrolled (BTD) for long-stay imported goods in the form of fresh garlic and flower plants.
This activity is a follow-up to the press conference held today, July 7, 2026, with the destruction process taking place on July 8, 2026 at PT Sinergi Prima Sejahtera, Tangerang, Banten, in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 92 of 2025.
Through cross-agency collaboration, the destruction of long-stay imported goods is a concrete step towards realizing transparent and accountable customs governance, optimizing terminal capacity, and maintaining the smooth flow of logistics and the national supply chain.
This activity also supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through synergy between agencies in building an efficient, sustainable, and competitive logistics system.
