JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Tanjung Priok has once again demonstrated its commitment to providing benefits to the community through the implementation of the New Priok Eastern Access (NPEA) Strategic Project Program.
The activity, which is part of the company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, was carried out on Wednesday (29/7/2026) at the Kalibaru Fishermen's Post/Kalibaru Pump House of PUPR/PTPIN, North Jakarta.
The NPEA Sharing Basic Foodstuffs program is a manifestation of Pelindo's concern for the communities surrounding the port's operational area, particularly the Kalibaru Nelayan, who rely on the sea for their primary livelihood. Pelindo strives to provide tangible support for community self-reliance while strengthening harmonious relations between the company and its surrounding community.
The event was also attended by the management of Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok, representatives from the North Jakarta City Government, the Food Security, Maritime Affairs, and Agriculture Agency (KPKP), Cilincing District, Kalibaru Village, and local community members. The presence of these various parties demonstrates the synergy between the company, the government, and the community in supporting the well-being of coastal communities.
In this activity, Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok distributed basic necessities to fishermen in Kalibaru, Cilincing District, North Jakarta Administrative City.
It is hoped that the assistance provided will help meet the food needs of the community, especially the Kalibaru fishermen, as well as strengthen harmonious relations between the company and the surrounding community.
