PALEMBANG (ISL News) - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Palembang also attended the Coordination Meeting for the Acceleration of Tanjung Carat Port Development in the Dapunta Hyang Meeting Room, Bappeda Building, South Sumatra Province. The meeting, held in a hybrid format, was led by the Assistant Deputy for State-Owned Enterprise Development for Energy and Mineral Resources at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, along with Assistant II for Economic, Financial, and Regional Development of South Sumatra Province.
This presence is part of Pelindo's ongoing commitment to supporting the acceleration of the development of national strategic port infrastructure. The meeting, led by Gede Edy Prasetya, Assistant Deputy for State-Owned Enterprise Development for Energy and Mineral Resources, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, along with Assistant II for Economic, Financial and Regional Development of South Sumatra Province, Ir. Basyaruddin Akhmad, was attended by various ministries/institutions, local governments, and state-owned enterprises in a hybrid manner, as a form of synergy to accelerate the development of Tanjung Carat Port as a hub for connectivity and economic growth in South Sumatra.
Also present representing Pelindo was Executive Director 2 of Pelindo Regional 2, Budi Prasetio, accompanied by Acting General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, Darmawi. Pelindo is always present and plays an active role in every strategic stage of the Tanjung Carat Port development, a project believed to have a significant impact on economic growth and logistics connectivity in South Sumatra and nationally.
