JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - Smooth logistics distribution is not only a port concern, but also has a direct impact on the availability of goods, distribution costs, and economic activity of the community.
To that end, the Ministry of Transportation, along with stakeholders, continues to strengthen coordination in handling container movements in the Tanjung Priok Port area. Various strategic steps were discussed, including real-time operational data integration, equitable container distribution at depots, buffer zone optimization, and developing long-term solutions to reduce logistics traffic congestion.
In the future, a data integration dashboard for container depot operational monitoring will be prepared as an effort to increase transparency, efficiency, and faster decision-making in national logistics management.
Through strong collaboration, it is hoped that the flow of goods will be smoother, logistics costs more efficient, and port services will be more optimal for all service users and the public.
