JAKARTA (ISL News) - PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX:IPCC), a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal under PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) which since February 2025 has been under the management of Danantara Indonesia, received a field study visit from the Bali Land Transportation Polytechnic (Poltrada Bali).
This visit was part of a Field Work Lecture (KKL) for 82 second-year, fourth-semester students in the Diploma III Logistics Management, Diploma III Road Transportation Management, and Diploma III Automotive Technology study programs, accompanied by 10 mentors. This activity emphasized the IPCC's commitment to providing tangible benefits to the wider community, particularly the educational sector, before focusing on corporate interests.
This visit aims to improve students' insight and skills in the fields of transportation, logistics, and transportation management as a whole, starting from modern warehousing systems, inventory management, global supply chain integration, to export-import document administration.
Students are also equipped with an understanding of vehicle terminal management that serves cargo export and import activities, including CBU, heavy equipment, trucks and buses, and general cargo, transportation regulations and safety standards, the role of land transportation in vehicle distribution, route scheduling and optimization, maintenance and safety of operational vehicles, energy efficiency and technological automation, and the role of the automotive sector in supporting the national production and distribution chain.
The series of materials continued with a direct review of the IPCC International Terminal to observe the processes of stevedoring, cargodoring, storage and distribution of vehicles from ships to the stacking yard and vice versa.
The event was also attended by Aris Budi Sulistyo, Deputy Director I of the Bali Regional Police and his staff, Safrial, Head of Human Resources and General Affairs at the IPCC, and Moch. Ilhamsyah, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at the IPCC. The interactive discussion session reflected the students' enthusiasm for understanding vehicle port business governance that applies the principles of good corporate governance (GCG), risk management, and sustainable development principles (SDGs).
"We appreciate the visit of all the students and staff from the Bali Regional Police to the IPCC. This visit demonstrates the IPCC's concrete role in supporting education as a pillar of sustainable corporate social and environmental responsibility," said Moch. Through this visit, the IPCC affirmed its commitment to continue playing an active role in supporting the improvement of the quality of education and human resources in Indonesia, in line with the sustainability direction promoted by Danantara Indonesia, as the ultimate shareholder, which is to ensure that the presence of state-owned enterprises provides the greatest benefit to the community before corporate interests. The synergy between the IPCC and the Bali Regional Police is expected to become a model for sustainable collaboration between industry and vocational education in Indonesia.
