JAKARTA (ISL News) – PT IPC Terminal Petikemas, along with six Pelindo Group companies, officially launched the PELITA 2026 Program (Pelindo Without Stunting Toddlers), a Pelindo Group Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program focused on stunting prevention through improved nutritional fulfillment, health education, and ongoing support for pregnant women and toddlers. The opening ceremony was held at the 3rd Floor Hall of Rawa Badak Utara Village, Koja District, North Jakarta.
This program is the result of collaboration between PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal, Tbk, PT Menara Maritim Indonesia, PT IPC Terminal Petikemas, PT Jasa Armada Indonesia, PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok, and PT Multi Terminal Indonesia as a form of synergy between the Pelindo Group in supporting the acceleration of reducing stunting rates in the company's operational areas.
The opening ceremony was accompanied by a symbolic handover of aid to beneficiaries, education on nutritional fulfillment during the First 1,000 Days of Life (HPK), and a workshop on preparing Supplementary Feeding (PMT) menus. This activity marked the start of the PELITA 2026 Program series, which will last for approximately six months with a total of 72 days of active intervention, targeting 30 toddlers and 25 pregnant women in Rawa Badak Utara Village. During this period, participants will receive assistance through the provision of supplementary feeding (PMT), nutrition education, monitoring of child growth and development, and assistance to parents or guardians.
The PELITA 2026 program received appreciation from the North Rawa Badak Village Government for the synergy of the Pelindo Group in presenting programs that support the acceleration of reducing stunting rates in the region.
The Head of Rawa Badak Utara Village, Ester Laura Kartini, said, "We appreciate the collaboration established in the PELITA 2026 Program. Children are the greatest investment for the nation's future, so efforts to prevent stunting do not begin at birth, but from pregnancy through fulfilling good nutrition for mothers. We hope this program can continue so that it can have a real impact in reducing stunting rates," she said.
Meanwhile, Senior Manager of the Corporate Secretariat of PT IPC Terminal Petikemas, Daniel Setiawan, said that cross-company collaboration within the Pelindo Group is key to delivering TJSL programs that provide real and sustainable benefits to the community.
"Through the PELITA 2026 Program, IPC Terminal Petikemas, together with Pelindo Group, strives to provide sustainable interventions through supplementary feeding, nutrition education, growth monitoring, and mentoring for pregnant women and parents. We hope this program can support the creation of a healthy, superior, and stunting-free generation in Indonesia," said Daniel.
Through the PELITA 2026 Program, IPC Terminal Petikemas, along with Pelindo Group, is committed to continuously delivering CSR programs that deliver tangible benefits to the community through collaboration with various stakeholders. This synergy is expected to accelerate the reduction of stunting rates while contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
