JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) — PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok together with the Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP), the Customs and Excise Office of Tanjung Priok Port, continues to strengthen coordination and synergy to support the acceleration of the inspection process of thousands of containers for the smooth flow of goods in Tanjung Priok Port, [June 11, 2026].

As the port operator, Pelindo, along with the International Container Terminal at Tanjung Priok Port, has prepared optimal operational support to expedite Customs and Excise inspections. This support includes providing inspection areas, stacking facilities, loading and unloading equipment, and terminal operational arrangements to ensure faster, more effective, and more efficient inspections.

Intensive coordination is also being carried out with the Customs and Excise Office (KPU), the Tanjung Priok Port Office (KSOP), and all stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of national logistics and maintain optimal port service levels.

Appeal

In line with these acceleration efforts, Pelindo urges all service users and goods owners to immediately release containers that have obtained a Goods Release Approval Letter (SPPB). This step is crucial to reduce congestion at the port yard and maintain the smooth movement of containers in the port area.

"We continue to collaborate with the Port Authority (KSOP), Customs and Excise, and container terminal managers to accelerate the inspection process and ensure smooth logistics flows. We also encourage all service users to pick up containers that have obtained SPPB (Standard Clearance Certificate) permits to optimize site capacity utilization and ensure the supply chain remains smooth. We ensure 24/7 operational services," said Yandri Trisaputra, Executive General Manager of Tanjung Priok Regional 2.

According to Yandri, Pelindo is committed to continuing to provide the best service and supporting the smooth flow of national logistics through close collaboration with all stakeholders at Tanjung Priok Port.
