SURABAYA (ISL News, February 11, 2026) – Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL) continues its efforts to ensure safe and healthy terminal operations. On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, TTL held free health checks for all truck drivers operating within the Terminal Teluk Lamong.
The health screening services provided include cholesterol tests, blood sugar tests, uric acid tests, and consultations with general practitioners. The goal of this program is to raise awareness among truck drivers about the importance of health.
Anang Januriandoko, Senior Manager of Management Systems and HSSE at PT Terminal Teluk Lamong, emphasized that the health of external truck drivers plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of OHS at the terminal. "Truck drivers are key partners in terminal operations. Through this health screening, TPK Teluk Lamong encourages early detection of health conditions as a risk prevention measure, thus ensuring workplace safety and productivity," Anang said.
Given the nature of their work, which involves high mobility and long work hours, health care is crucial for creating a safe, healthy, and productive work environment in terminal areas. In addition to receiving health screenings, truck drivers also receive health education on healthy lifestyles, non-communicable disease prevention, and encouragement to undergo regular health checkups.
This activity is also part of a series of events commemorating the 2026 National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) month. PT Terminal Teluk Lamong is increasingly focusing on implementing K3 standards and requirements to ensure smooth and safe operations.
