CIREBON INDONESIA (ISL News, February 18, 2026)  — Commitment to occupational safety continues to be a top priority at the Port of Cirebon. PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) Cirebon Branch emphasized this through performance evaluation activities of Loading and Unloading Companies (PBM) which were combined with awards for high-achieving PBMs, with an emphasis on HSSE aspects and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (K3) procedures.

The evaluation was conducted comprehensively, taking into account operational productivity, service accuracy, and disciplined occupational safety practices, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to operational procedures in the port area. This approach is part of an effort to build a work environment that is not only productive but also safe for all workers and service users.

Branch Manager of PTP Non-Container Cirebon Branch, Hari Priyatna, emphasized that occupational safety is the main foundation for the sustainability of port operations.

"High productivity must go hand in hand with occupational safety. Through this evaluation and appreciation, we want to instill a culture that every operational activity must prioritize safety as a shared responsibility," he said.
