JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News, February 23, 2026) – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo is once again introducing the Free Homecoming (Mudik Gratis Iedul Fitri) Program with the Pelindo Group in 2026 as a manifestation of the company's concern for the community's high demand for safe and affordable homecoming facilities. This program is part of Pelindo's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) commitment to providing tangible benefits to the community.
This year, Pelindo Group has prepared 152 buses with a total of more than 7,000 round-trip seats to transport people to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in their hometowns.
Pelindo's Group Head of Corporate Secretariat, Ali Sodikin, stated that this program aims to help the public, particularly the lower-middle class, travel home safely and comfortably. Furthermore, this initiative also supports efforts to minimize the risk of traffic accidents by providing bus transportation that meets safety and comfort standards for long-distance travel.
"We ensure that the entire fleet and the implementation process of this program prioritize safety, comfort, and security, so that travelers can arrive at their destinations safely and calmly," said Ali.
As in previous years, the registration process is carried out online via the link https://mudikpelindo.id. The public can monitor the latest information via the official Instagram account @pelindo to find out the complete registration schedule and mechanism.
The 13 routes provided in the 2026 Free Homecoming Program with Pelindo Group include:
1. Jakarta – Solo
2. Jakarta – Surabaya
3. Jakarta – Semarang
4. Jakarta – Yogyakarta
5. Jakarta – Purwokerto
6. Surabaya – Madiun
7. Surabaya – Trenggalek
8. Surabaya – Jember
9. Makassar – Palopo
10. Makassar – Soroako
11. Medan – Aceh
12. Medan – Pekanbaru
13. Field – Padang
The departure for the homecoming flow is scheduled for March 16, 2026, while the return flow will take place on March 27, 2026. Participants must meet the following requirements: Attach a Family Card (KK) and Resident Identity Card (KTP), be in good physical and mental health, and not be registered for any other state-owned enterprise (BUMN) homecoming program. Prospective participants are advised to ensure complete documentation and comply with all applicable regulations to ensure a smooth departure process.
Each participant will receive facilities in the form of a free round-trip bus ticket according to the selected route, a Free Homecoming T-shirt with Pelindo 2026, and refreshments upon departure.
