JAKARTA (ISL News, February 23, 2026) – PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) once again demonstrated its capabilities in special cargo loading and unloading services by handling the arrival of 3,100 imported cattle (live stock) from Australia at Pier 101, Tanjung Priok Port, on Monday (23/2/2026).
The unloading process was carried out under supervision and in accordance with applicable regulations, implementing operational standards and procedures for unloading livestock. Careful handling was carried out to ensure livestock safety and smooth distribution, as part of efforts to support the availability of meat supplies in the Jakarta area and its surroundings.
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung personally inspected the unloading of imported Australian cattle at Pier 101, Tanjung Priok Port. The inspection was conducted to ensure the smooth arrival and distribution of beef supplies to Jakarta and the surrounding areas.
Meanwhile, EGM Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok, Yandri Trisaputra, emphasized the readiness of facilities and services at Tanjung Priok Port to support the smooth flow of goods, including live animal commodities.
"Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok is committed to providing reliable and integrated port services. Handling live stock requires special attention, including berthing facilities, vehicle flow management, and cross-agency coordination. We have prepared all of these thoroughly," he explained.
Director of Commercial and Business Development and Acting Director of Operations of PTP Non-container, Dwi Rahmad Toto S., added that the successful handling of 3,100 head of cattle reflects PTP Non-container's competence in managing various types of non-container cargo, including special commodities.
"As a non-container terminal operator, PTP Nonpetikemas has experience handling bulk cargo, general cargo, and live stock. We ensure effective loading and unloading, pay attention to HSSE aspects, and support the smooth operation of the national food supply chain," said Toto.
PTP Nonpetikemas will continue to strengthen collaboration with Pelindo Group, local governments, and related agencies to ensure that every operational activity runs optimally, safely, and provides added value to the national economy.
The event was also attended by officials from the Jakarta Provincial Government, Pelindo Group management, and other relevant stakeholders. Also present were Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, EGM of Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok Yandri Trisaputra, and the Director of Commercial and Business Development, who is also the Acting Director of Operations of PTP Non-Container, Dwi Rahmad Toto S, and the President Director of Dharma Jaya Regional Public Company, Raditya Endra Budiman.
