PALEMBANG INDONESIA (ISL News, February 4, 2026) – Still in the spirit of commemorating the 2026 National K3 Month which carries the theme "Building a Professional, Reliable and Collaborative National K3 Management Ecosystem, taking place in the Musi Meeting Room of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Palembang / Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang again held the "Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Forum in the Environment of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Palembang in 2026".
This forum was attended by all employees of Pelindo Group Regional 2 Palembang and work partners in the Boom Baru Port Environment of Palembang, presenting expert speakers from the Manpower and Transmigration Office of South Sumatra Province and the Harbormaster & Port Authority Office of Class I Palembang.
The activity was attended directly by the Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office of South Sumatra Province, the Chairperson of the DPW APBMI South Sumatra, the Secretary of the DPW ALFI / ILFA South Sumatra and representatives from the Office of the Harbormaster & Class I Port Authority of Palembang.
This K3 Forum is a strategic forum for coordination, evaluation, and strengthening synergy between management and all work units in implementing a professional, reliable, and sustainable K3 system.
General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, represented by Business Compliance Manager, Iwan Sanjaya, in his remarks said, "This K3 month is an annual routine activity that we hold to remind ourselves and our partners about how important K3 is to be implemented in our work environment because K3 is a major factor in the Port, we also remind our colleagues and teams to jointly implement what is the direction and provisions of K3 itself."

In the forum, various strategic OHS issues were discussed, including evaluating OHS implementation in the work environment, increasing compliance with safety standards, mitigating work risks, and strengthening the active role of all workers in creating a safe and healthy workplace.
