SURABAYA (ISL News) - Pelindo Group Samarinda Working Area held an Evaluation Meeting for the Improvement of Ship Pilotage and Towing Services in Samarinda Class I mandatory pilotage waters together with strategic partners on Thursday (19/2/2026) which was attended by the General Manager of Pelindo Regional 4 Samarinda, Capt. Suparman, M.Mar.
Also present were the Director of Operations, Commercial and Engineering of Pelindo Marine Service, Mr. Elvin Syah Putra together with Senior Manager of Operations of Pelindo Marine Service, Capt. Syarifuddin Hamma, as well as Senior Manager of Commercial of Pelindo Marine Service, Mr. Dhika Ramadhanny Putra.
This Coordination and Evaluation Meeting activity was carried out in order to improve the quality of ship pilotage and towing services in the Samarinda Port working area as a follow-up to the company's commitment to ensure that pilotage and towing services in Samarinda's Class I mandatory pilotage waters run effectively, safely, and are able to optimally meet the needs of service users.
This activity also serves as a forum for delivering operational evaluations, technical coordination, and input from strategic partners to the Pelindo Group Samarinda Working Area to improve the pilotage and towing service process at Samarinda Port.
Pelindo Group Samarinda Working Area is committed to continuing to provide professional, responsive and aligned pilotage and towing services to the needs of service users and strategic partners as well as cross-sector and agency coordination to support smooth port operations, improve service reliability, and strengthen the role of Samarinda Port in supporting national logistics mobility.
