PALEMBANG (ISL News) - Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, along with PT IPC Terminal Petikemas Area Palembang, held a coffee morning for stakeholders and container service users in the Musi Meeting Room. The event discussed the transition to issuing service notes for container goods as part of Pelindo's transformation and streamlining, as directed by Danantara, to create a simpler, more standardized, and integrated service process.
This activity was attended by the General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, Darmawi; Terminal Head Palembang PT IPC Terminal Petikemas, Adi Saputra Darmansyah; Senior Manager of Treasury Pelindo Regional 2, Rizki Nopriza; Head of KSK Boom Baru Port, AKP R. Nugroho Panji P; as well as leaders of port services associations, consisting of DPC INSA Palembang, DPW ALFI/ILFA South Sumatra, DPW APBMI South Sumatra, DPW ISAA South Sumatra, and DPD APTRINDO South Sumatra.
The socialization material was delivered by the Finance & Human Resources Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, Saripudin, along with the Senior Manager of Treasury of Pelindo Regional 2, Rizki Nopriza. The presentation covered the background of the transition, adjustments to billing administration, payment mechanisms, tax provisions, and the implementation time of the changes. Through this socialization, stakeholders and service users received explanations regarding various aspects that need to be understood before the transition is implemented.
The transfer of the issuance of container goods service notes is part of the transformation and restructuring of roles within the Pelindo Group. Previously, the issuance of container goods service notes carried out by PT IPC Terminal Petikemas had been transferred to its parent company, namely PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas. Subsequently, through the implementation of streamlining carried out by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) as directed by Danantara, the issuance of the notes was again transferred, from PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas to PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) through Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang.
This transition represents an effort to align business processes and restructure roles between Pelindo, the parent company, and its subsidiaries. With this change, the issuance of notes and the administration of container freight service bills will be handled by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Palembang. Meanwhile, container service operations will continue to be handled by PT IPC Terminal Petikemas Area Palembang.
Thus, the changes focus on administrative and billing aspects without altering the operational implementation of container services. Service users can still submit service requests through the existing Customer Portal platform, without any changes to the operational flow. This scheme is expected to simplify business processes, improve service integration, and maintain smooth service delivery for all service users.
The transition to note issuance is scheduled to take effect on December 1, 2026, at 12:01 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. The issuer will be determined based on the date and time of the service request recorded in the Customer Portal system. Service requests recorded before the effective date will continue to be issued by PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, while requests recorded after the effective date will use notes issued by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero).
Through the Coffee Morning event, Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang opened a space for communication and coordination with stakeholders, regulators, associations, and service users to directly share information and build a shared understanding of the transition. The involvement of various parties is expected to support the smooth implementation of the changes and strengthen synergy among all parties involved in port service delivery.
Pelindo Group Regional 2 Palembang is committed to maintaining service quality through ongoing coordination, transparent information delivery, and streamlined business processes. This streamlining is expected to simplify and integrate administrative processes, while ensuring normal container operations and ensuring the continued well-being of service users.
