JAKARTA, INDONESIA (ISL News) – The Koja Container Terminal (TPK Koja) has again made concrete strides in transforming its port services. This afternoon, a new piece of loading and unloading equipment officially arrived at Tanjung Priok Port, as part of the planned addition of three Quay Container Cranes (QCCs) and four Electric Rubber Tyred Gantries (ERTGs), which have been underway since 2023.
This investment is aimed at upgrading equipment with more modern technology, which is energy efficient and has a larger capacity.
All new equipment is powered by electricity, replacing fossil fuels, in line with Pelindo's commitment to realizing a green and sustainable port.
With the support of international standard equipment, TPK Koja targets a throughput of 986,039 TEUs in 2026. To ensure your port services, the addition of QCC and RTG equipment will certainly determine this achievement.
