JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News) - PT Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL), a B2B company in the competitive port industry, continues to strengthen its branding strategy to emphasize its position as a Green & Smart Port and improve relationships with stakeholders. This effort is being undertaken to increase TTL's brand recognition, build a positive perception, and become a reference for global-standard terminal services.
TTL implements various branding strategies, including the use of environmentally friendly technology in operational equipment, carbon emission reduction campaigns, development of greening programs, implementation of the Greenerse program which invites stakeholders to contribute to planting trees and mangroves, and implementation of the TJSL program for community empowerment in ring 1 with a focus on environmental protection.
In terms of service, TTL consistently delivers the best customer experience through customer hearings, customer gatherings, customer visits, and various initiatives to strengthen customer relationships, such as holding a celebration to welcome the inaugural ship route service as a form of appreciation to customers and an effort to strengthen engagement and the best experience for service users.
Through this innovative and sustainable strategy, TTL successfully won two awards at the 2025 BUMN Branding & Marketing Award (BBMA), namely: the Platinum Award in the Brand Agility & Perception category and the Gold Award in the Best Customer Experience & Personalization category.
The event, held by BUMN Track at the Borobudur Hotel Jakarta on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, was attended by 74 state-owned companies, public companies, and state-owned company subsidiaries from all over Indonesia.
BUMN Track CEO Syamsudin Hadi Sutarto stated that the BBMAs are a recognition event for companies that have successfully implemented effective branding and marketing strategies. "This award strengthens the role of SOEs in enhancing their reputation and positioning at the national and global levels," he said.
The Chairman of the BBMA 2025 Jury, Chairman of DMID & WIR Group, Daniel Surya, added, "In the era of technology integration, brands must be able to provide real-time experiences to the public, moving from communication to continuous interaction. The stronger a state-owned enterprise's digital transformation, the stronger the nation's sovereign capability in the eyes of the world."
TTL continues to demonstrate its capabilities as a future-proof terminal by accelerating technology utilization, optimizing corporate media channels, strengthening ESG implementation, and building collaboration with stakeholders to create a digital environment that supports an integrated operational ecosystem.
David Pandapotan Sirait, President Director of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong, who was present to receive the award, expressed his pride. "This is a great honor for TTL. This award is a gift for the company's 12th anniversary and a testament to TTL's ability to build a strong brand as a Green & Smart Port and provide the best customer experience for its users," he said.
David also expressed his appreciation to all TTL employees and service partners. "This success is due to the hard work of all TTL employees who continue to innovate, build engagement, and improve service quality. We thank all service users, partners, and stakeholders for their continued trust in Teluk Lamong Terminal," he continued.
Furthermore, David emphasized that consistent branding and marketing are key to strengthening a company's positioning through creative communication and technology-based innovation.
This award is an important milestone that confirms TTL's branding and marketing transformation over the past few years.
