JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) — The Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, a collaboration between Pelindo Group, was once again realized through the PIJAR (Visual Massage) activity held at the Nusantara Passenger Terminal, Tanjung Priok Port, Monday (12/29/2025). This activity became a collaborative space between Tanjung Priok Regional 2 Branch, SPSL, and IKT in providing real benefits for people with disabilities, especially the blind.

The implementation of PIJAR coincided with the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru) holidays, when passenger traffic at the Nusantara Passenger Terminal tends to increase. During this time, massage services for the visually impaired were introduced as an additional facility offered to terminal users, not only to enhance passenger comfort but also as a form of inclusive public service oriented toward social responsibility.

This activity was attended by internal Pelindo Group officials, including Acting Executive General Manager PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Tanjung Priok Yandri Trisaputra, Senior Manager of Legal Affairs and Public Relations of PT Pelindo Regional 2 Wahyu Jatmiko, Senior Vice President of Corporate Secretariat of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik Dewi Fitriyani, Senior Manager of Corporate Secretary of PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk Roro Endah Dwi Liesly, and Acting Senior Manager of Finance and HR of PT Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok Wijinowo.

Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok provided support for the program by utilizing a space at the Nusantara Passenger Terminal for massage services. Supporting facilities included two massage chairs, a mattress, a fan, an air cooler, and other equipment. Five active participants with visual impairments participated in the program, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 30.

Acting Executive General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok, Yandri Trisaputra, emphasized that this TJSL collaboration is part of an effort to build sustainable synergy while opening economic opportunities for people with disabilities.

"Through the PIJAR program, we want to ensure that port facilities serve not only as logistics facilities but also as inclusive and productive spaces. We hope that the utilization of the Nusantara Passenger Terminal will bring tangible benefits to our visually impaired massage therapists, fostering their enthusiasm, and creating sustainable employment opportunities for them to stand on their own two feet," said Yandri.

Yandri further added that this program aligns with Pelindo Group's commitment to growing micro-scale MSMEs and promoting economic independence in communities within the company's operational areas. "Limitations are not a barrier to creativity. With support and collaboration, productivity can continue to grow and add value for all," he said.

Through the implementation of PIJAR, Pelindo Group hopes to strengthen the role of TJSL as a driver of social and economic inclusion, while also bringing a sustainable positive impact to the disabled community, especially the blind, in the Tanjung Priok Port environment and the Pelindo Group's operational area in general.
