JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News) - PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) as the lead holding of BUMN survey services / IDSurvey, held a Technical Committee Meeting with the theme Driving Excellence, Defining the Future, on April 24, 2025 at the Nava Building of PT BKI (Persero).
This event was attended by Deputy Director of Classification Business Management of BKI, Mr. Arief Budi Permana, Chairperson of Iperindo, Mrs. Anita Puji Utami, VP of Classification & Statutory Research & Development, Mr. Fredhi Agung Prasetyo, and Members of the BKI Technical Committee for the period 2023 - 2025
This event was held to validate BKI's technical regulations as a requirement for the issuance of Rules which will later become BKI's submission material to IACS.
The agenda for the Technical Committee meeting is to validate 7 (seven) Draft Technical Rules which are divided into 3 Panel Meetings.
Generally agreeing to the results of the panel meeting per sub-committee which has validated 7 (seven) Draft Technical Rules, namely:
3. NE July 2025 Rules for Classification and Surveys (Pt.1, Vol.I)
4. NE July 2025 - Rules for Machinery Installations (Pt.1, Vol.III)
5. NE July 2025 - Rules for Electrical Installations (Pt.1, Vol.IV)
6. NE July 2025 - Rules for Approval of Manufacturers and Service Suppliers (Pt.1, Vol.XI)
7. NE July 2025 - Rules for Non - Metallic Materials (Pt.1, Vol.XIV)
And then the draft will be published by BKI according to the applicable procedures and taking into account the existing proposals and inputs.
