JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - In order to commemorate the 2025 National K3 Month, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) carried out a number of activities aimed at increasing awareness and the importance of implementing K3 in the work environment such as Walkthrough Management (MWT), distribution of Light Fire Extinguishers (APAR) to car carrier truck drivers and the surrounding community as part of the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program.
Conducting a workshop for environmental and K3 hazard identification officers, IPCC internal HSSE Forum, Technical Vendor Induction which is expected to be a reminder for vendors in carrying out work in the Company's area to always prioritize K3. K3 socialization through basic emergency training, driver safety awareness, blood donation activities, and safety campaigns.
As part of the celebration of the 2025 National K3 Month with the theme "Strengthening Human Resource Capacity in Supporting the Implementation of the K3 Management System (SMK3), IPCC held a Management Walkthrough (MWT) involving 11 Pelindo Subsidiaries in the Tanjung Priok area together with the Tanjung Priok Main KSOP. MWT is a safety evaluation process carried out through direct review (walkthrough) in the Company's operational area to assess compliance and feasibility of safety procedures and identify potential hazards that can threaten the safety of workers and the environment so that risks can be mitigated.
The main objective of this MWT is to ensure that all work areas, both managed by IPCC and Pelindo Subsidiaries, have met strict safety standards and to make immediate improvements to existing findings. By involving many parties, it is hoped that the implementation of this MWT will strengthen coordination and communication between Companies and increase shared awareness of the importance of work safety. This step is also a form of shared commitment to prevent accidents and build a safe work culture throughout the port area.
In addition to MWT, IPCC also held TJSL activities as a form of concern for the safety of the environment around the company. In this activity, IPCC distributed 150 sets of 1KG Light Fire Extinguishers (APAR) and First Aid Box Sets to car carrier truck drivers operating in the IPCC Branch Jakarta work area (international and domestic terminals). In addition, as part of efforts to mitigate the risk of fire in residential areas directly adjacent to the Company, IPCC also provided 30 sets of 6KG APAR to local residents, namely RW 08, 09, and 10 of Kalibaru Village, and all RTs below it.
Senior Manager of Corporate Secretary, Endah Dwi Liesly said "This TJSL program is part of IPCC's commitment to continue to improve safety and awareness of potential fire hazards, both in the work environment and in the community around us. Hopefully, with this small step, we will be more prepared to face emergency situations and maintain safety together," said Endah.
The distribution of APAR and P3K Box Set aims to provide more protection against potential fires that may occur, both in the company's operational area and around residential areas. With this effort, IPCC hopes to strengthen the preparedness of the community and IPCC personnel in dealing with emergencies related to fires.
