JAKARTA (ISL News) - PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik or (“SPSL”) also supports the Ministry of BUMN's program in implementing accelerated increases in synergy and logistics integration by building partnerships with various actors along the logistics value chain in improving logistics services in Makassar and Sumatra.
Joko Noerhudha as the Main Director of SPSL said that at the beginning of this year SPSL through its subsidiary PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI) had served cargo consolidation and distribution activities belonging to PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Line (SPIL) and PT Meratus Line at the Cargo Consolidation and Distribution Center field. (CCDC) 100 Makassar, which previously carried out standardization and systemization of logistics operations in 2023.
This strategy is implemented to build partnerships and synergy in optimizing the management and operation of the stacking yard at the Port of Makassar and improving the quality of container services which include lift on/lift off , stuffing/stripping , stacking, provision of loading and unloading equipment, cleaning, supervision, relocation. , and other business potential.
Joko added, apart from carrying out synergy and collaboration in Makassar, SPSL also through its other subsidiary PT Prima Indonesia Logistik (PIL) collaborates with PT Sei Mangkei Nusantara Tiga (SMNT), PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) and PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) to carry out Logistics Service collaboration in the North Sumatra Region and surrounding areas where the planned consolidation location is at Sei Mangkei Dry Port.
For SPSL, this is a positive step to establish collaboration which is expected to have a greater positive impact on the company, and become a stepping stone to spur business transformation towards greater and more competitive progress.
In realizing an integrated logistics ecosystem, SPSL will continue to improve and create value in various business lines. After the Pelindo merger, apart from making various efforts to reduce logistics costs, SPSL has also integrated hinterland to ports through collaboration with industry players to form a logistics ecosystem through multimodal logistics transportation services, so that it is hoped that it can gradually create more efficient logistics costs.
SPSL as a BUMN subsidiary will continue the transformation program to bring greater benefits to the Indonesian people. For 2024, SPSL has several main focuses, one of which is continuing the transformation to create an integrated logistics ecosystem as stated in the Company's 2023-2024 roadmap , namely ecosystem expansion. This is also in line with the transformation of BUMN that has been conveyed by BUMN Minister Erick Thohir, namely the transformation of core values , infrastructure, rules and employee welfare.
To provide optimal service, SPSL is also committed to continuing to improve integrated operational services by continuing to pay attention to the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and AKHLAK values , prioritizing HSSE ( Health, Safety, Security & Environment ) or K3 aspects in all services, as well as implementing Integrated Management System.
