JAKARTA (ISL News) - Throughout the month of Ramadhan 1445 H, IPC Terminal Petikemas/IPC TPK carried out a series of Social & Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Programs packaged with the Pelindo Sharing theme. By distributing 650 basic food packages and 1600 Ramadhan takjil packages, IPC TPK wants to make it easier for the community, port workers and service users to carry out worship in the holy month of Ramadhan.
"The increase in prices of basic commodities ahead of the month of Ramadan is a challenge for the community. "We hope that the basic food packages and takjil packages that we have prepared can help ease the burden on the people around the port so they can focus on carrying out their worship in the holy month of Ramadan." said Guna Mulyana, Main Director of IPC TPK.
The TJSL Ramadhan program in the form of basic food packages is distributed to loading and unloading workers, cleaning officers, security officers, and the general public around the port. Symbolically, the basic food packages were handed over by the Director of Finance, Human Resources & Risk Management of IPC TPK, Yanuar Evyanto. The basic food packages prepared contain rice, cooking oil, sugar, instant noodles, sardines, canned wafers, coffee and tea. Apart from that, basic food packages were also distributed to 11 orphanages and nursing homes at several points in North Jakarta such as the Cilincing, Rawa Badak, Pulo Gadung and Ancol areas.
Meanwhile, IPC TPK provides hundreds of iftar meals which are distributed every day for 2 weeks to truck drivers and port workers before breaking the fast considering that the port is a limited area where there are no food sales locations. It is hoped that this program can improve the smoothness of loading and unloading activities at the port so that loading and unloading workers and truck drivers can continue their activities both before opening and breaking the fast.
"We have carried out the TJSL Sharing Blessings Program in the Month of Ramadhan regularly every year for the last 4 years as an effort to channel benefits to the surrounding environment. We hope that this TJSL program can have a good impact and benefits for its recipients in this blessed month," concluded To use.
