JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - Pelindo Regional 2 received a visit from students of the Bali State Polytechnic Department of Business Administration at the Indonesian Maritime Museum, Tuesday (20/02/2024). From the representative of the Bali State Polytechnic, I Made Widiantara S.Psi., M.Sc. as the lecturer who accompanied the students on the visit, said that it was an honor for us to have been accepted for a site visit to Indonesian Regional Port 2 and get information and knowledge about ports and see firsthand the port working system, so that our students became motivated to get to know the maritime world.
This visit activity was filled with presentations about the world of ports, especially Pelindo Regional 2, with the speaker being the Senior Manager of Regional Marketing 2, Aryoko Jiwandoro, the students were equipped with knowledge of the important role of Pelindo as a national logistics chain, considering that Indonesia is one of the largest archipelagic countries in the world and Pelindo is committed to strengthening its important role as a trade facilitator, including digitizing the port system to facilitate the distribution of goods.
Students' enthusiasm for the maritime world is very high, as evidenced by the question and answer interactions about the port, not only at the museum, but also during visits to the Operations Terminal 3 of Tanjung Priok Port.
Drajat added, through this visit it is hoped that the students can broaden their insight and improve their knowledge, especially in the field of ports, so that in the future they can play an active role in the Indonesian maritime world, as well as being skilled in their respective fields.
