JAKARTA (ISL News) - Coinciding with Pelindo's 5th anniversary, October 1, 2026, also marked the beginning of the Interim Phase 1 of the Corporate Role Map Restructuring.
During this interim phase, the role adjustments between Pelindo, Regional/Branch, and Subsidiaries began to be implemented at 16 Non-Container PTP Terminals, as part of a joint effort to clarify roles and responsibilities.
This represents a joint step toward entering a new phase of Pelindo's transformation. The support and collaboration of every Port Captain (Pelindo Official) is crucial to ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining service.
From the data and information obtained by the ISL News Team , it is stated that the adjustment of the role map is divided into three parts, the first part , the transfer of the issuance of notes at 16 bulk terminals which have been managed by PTP Non-container, is carried out by the Pelindo Branch on behalf of Pelindo.
Part Two of the division of Notes and Customers, stipulates that:
- connection and cancellation of Notes are carried out by Pelindo Regional,
- the service contract for goods with customers is carried out by Pelindo,
- Customer management is carried out by Pelindo,
- discount policy, implemented by Pelindo by following the provisions of the current contract walk.
- Term Of Payment (TOP) follows the provisions in the current contract.
- Customer claims are handled by Pelindo, however, if the claim originates from the operational activities of a Subsidiary, it will be resolved through a back-to-back mechanism with PTP Non-container.
Part Three , Cut Off Rules, 00.00, responsibility for transactions is determined based on the time the service request is submitted.
"This role map actually re-clarifies Pelindo's role as a port business owner regarding the business process patterns carried out by Pelindo's subsidiaries as concession holders," said Drajat Sulistyo, Deputy President Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) on the sidelines of Pelindo's 5th Anniversary Ceremony at the Pelindo Regional 2 Office.
