JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI) supports the implementation of the working visit of Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), to the MTI Common Area, Tanjung Priok Port, in order to directly review the process of supervision and inspection of commodities entering through one of Indonesia's strategic logistics hubs.
During the activity, the inspection process for imported commodities, including Brazilian meat and garlic, was part of an effort to ensure that the commodities being transported met quarantine requirements while supporting food security and the protection of Indonesia's biological resources.
As part of the national logistics ecosystem, MTI is committed to supporting the implementation of safe, orderly, efficient, and integrated port inspection and service processes, by providing facilities and operational support that support the smooth flow of goods.
MTI believes that strong oversight must go hand in hand with smooth logistics. Through collaboration between businesses, regulators, and all stakeholders, Indonesia's logistics ecosystem can become more reliable in supporting trade while safeguarding national interests.
